Mr. Edio joined KIF as Deputy CEO in July 2019. During the 20 years of his professional career, He has held several managerial and banking executive positions, which include being the Development Manager, Branch Manager, Head of Retail Banking for over seven years and was appointed Chief Operating Officer prior to joining KIF.

With TRM Since 2005, Know English well, Trained at AMK-Cambodia and BASIX-India; after proving ops champion, he became a Training Manager during 5 years, in year 2020 Mr. Tarsisio da Costa was promoted to Risk Manager, a position which was previously held by an expatriate staff. This promotion was made taking into consideration Mr. Tarsisio’s substantial experience in operations and its associated risks as well as his thorough understanding of the entire business of Kaebauk.

Jiby Barreto

Chief Risk Officer

Mr. Jose joined TRM in 2006 as a Field Officer, a position he held until 2010. In 2011, he was promoted to Branch Manager at the Oecusse Branch, where he served until 2012. From 2013 to 2014, he was again promoted, this time to Internal Audit Officer. In 2014, he was promoted to ORM, a role he held until January 2025. In February 2025, he was promoted once more to Chief Risk Officer.

Kamran Saeed

Chief Finance Officer

He joined TRM as a CFO in June 2014. After the successfully capacity building in finance department, CFO responsibility is transferred to other team member and he took the role of Strategic Initiative Manger. At this role he takes lead to the implementation of new initiatives and coordinate across the departments. He is proactive and result oriented fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with extensive accounting, auditing, strategic, financial and transformation management experience. He started his professional career with Deloitte Pakistan and have been engaged with various assurance and other engagements in respect of public listed / non-listed companies and private limited companies of diversified economic sectors.

Basilio Ribeiro

Chief Treasury Officer

Mr. Basilio joined Kaebauk as a CFO in 2019. He previously worked at the Ministry of Finance as a public sector accountant for 6 Years and served as a member of Timor Leste Petroleum Fund – Investment Advisory Board for 5 years. Graduated as a Master Degree specialized in Accounting from Flinders University Australia. He was the CFO for 6 years with Kaebauk managing accounting, Treasury Finance and Financial management functions. Now, he has been promoted as a Chief treasury Officer and Saving Deposit Officer with the main responsibility in managing the Treasury and saving deposit.

Praveen Kumar

Chief Digital Officer

Mr. Thiruveedhi Praveen Kumar is a Technology Professional with over two decades of experience driving digital transformation across the banking and financial services sector. With a distinguished career spanning more than 100 successful digital implementations across India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste, he brings deep domain expertise and a strong track record of innovation to his role. Mr. Praveen Kumar has been associated with Kaebauk and TRM since 2014 as a strategic IT solutions partner. In April 2025, he joined Kaebauk as Chief Digital Banking Officer, where he leads the institution’s digital strategy, innovation roadmap, and end-to-end execution of digital financial services. At Kaebauk, he is committed to accelerating financial inclusion through customer-centric, scalable, and secure digital solutions. He is now the Chief Digital Officer.

Jacob Neto

Chief Clients Advocacy Officer

Joined TRM in 2002 as a Field Officer until 2007, when he was promoted to Branch manager. In March 2016 was promoted as an Internal Audit Manager. On April 2021 as Client Advocate Manager.

Elieu Gomes

Chief Corporate Services Officer

One of senior most multitasker, currently Head of Corporate Services, has been handling various departments at different stages of the growth of the organization, he also worked in Indonesia, pursuing graduation in Public Relations.

Rui de Oliveira

Chief IT Officer

Joined TRM in 2011 and now leading the IT department, has been handling all challenges to keep system live and bug free with negligible down time. Graduated B.I.T from Jakarta, with skills of working with SQL Server, LAN, MS Windows administration, Windows Server etc.

Sandeep Jain

Chief Internal Audit Officer

He Joined with TRM in 2013 his contributions to TRM/KIF began with Head of Risk, he has master degree in Commerce and Business administration, previously worked with leading microfinance and NBFC in India, overall, 1.5 decade of experience in Risk management, Internal audit and fraud management. After training and developing a successor in the Risk Management department, since April 2021 he is leading the Internal Audit department.

Antonio Carlos Hanjam Soares

Chief BDM & BCP

Mr. Tony Has Worked in Kaebauk Investimentu No Finansas, SA since October of 2019 as the Board Executive Assistant and is now the Chief Business Development and Continuity Plan Manager. Mr. Tony is also working on Social Performance for Kaebauk, as well as Marketing. Mr. Tony Graduated in Griffith University, Located in Gold Coast Australia with a Bachelor of business in 2018. He is a young-talented individual, eager to challenge himself and quick to assist others when he can. He is the newest and the youngest addition to the senior management team of Kaebauk Investimentu No Finansas, SA.

Joined TRM in 2015 as Board Executive Assistant to manage and support. CG affairs and now handling duty of compliance officer; Bachelor of communication and Media from University of Canberra; multitasking, efficient and keen learner makes her promising young leader to grow

Jesuina Cabral

Chief HR Officer

Joined KIF In October of 2017 as HR Manager, several years of working experience in NGOs with various skill, Administration and Human Resources, Program been managed grant. Human Resource Manager overseeing employee of an organization, Recruiting, interviews, training and disciplinary proceeding. Formal Education Master in Human Resources and Management.
